Chesapeake Housing Mission (CHM) is a Christian charitable organization dedicated to providing critical home repair services with a focus on accessibility for low-income families in Maryland’s Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester Counties. Our services are offered completely free of charge, demonstrating our commitment to helping residents in need. 

We are now accepting applications for various services including wheelchair ramp construction and repair, step handrails, step construction and repair, deck repair, and bathroom grab bars. All applications in our queue are prioritized and scheduled based on urgency, complexity, available resources, and the skill sets of our volunteers.

CHM only accepts applications through our partner agencies. If you believe you qualify for assistance, please contact one of the organizations listed below. Request to speak with a case manager and mention that you’d like to apply for services from Chesapeake Housing Mission.
